Elizabeth Gillies
Gillies Her acting career began around the age of 12 when she started going to open casting auditions in her local area. The actress soon started appearing in commercials with companies such as Virgin Mobile. Gillies debut television appearance was as a recurring character on three seasons of The Black Donnellys. Her parents refused to allow her to watch the whole series because they felt it wasn't suitable for their children. [citation needed] In 2008, she played small roles in the show The Clique, Harold, and Locker 514. That summer she was also cast in the role of Lucy in a Goodspeed show of Robert's new musical 13 along with her future Victorious co-star, Ariana Grande. The fall of the same year, 13 that was the first Broadway musical completely made up of teenagers, was moved to Broadway. Her two biggest numbers, "Opportunity", and "It could not be real" and "It can't be true" were followed by smaller roles in songs such as "Hey Kendra", "Getting Ready" as well as the song that was to be her title. Gillies continued to be part of the project until its closure on January 4 on the 4th of January 2009.
